A Must-Have for Students Going to College or Thinking About Going!
August 28, 2019
Format: Kindle Edition
What makes this book so compelling is its honest discussion about the issues that affect students' college-going ability and their ability to be successful. As a past high school principal and district level administrator, I would recommend this book to parents and students. In the book, The Good Student: How to Take Control of Your College Years, the author, Dorri, goes beyond the importance of classroom skills and tackles a wide range of issues ranging from psychological, social, academic and access. The book is down to earth and easy to read. It not only identifies the challenges students may face, but more importantly provides suggestions for implementation of strategies for success.
